Receipt books, order books and quote books
The printed layout decides what the book is for. A cleaner might print a 2-part A6 receipt book, a builders' merchant an A5 3-part delivery note book, a mobile mechanic an A4 job sheet pad, and a joiner an A5 quote book. Choose a numbered invoice book whenever you need to account for every form in sequence.
Duplicate, triplicate or 4-part
White is always the top copy. Duplicate (2-part) adds yellow, triplicate (3-part) adds yellow and pink, and 4-part adds yellow, pink and blue. Pick one copy for each person or place the form has to reach.
Setting out the form
Give every box room for handwriting, keep text clear of the bound edge, and leave the set number to us on invoice books. Can I use an invoice book as a receipt book?
Yes. The wording is yours, so the same product can be printed as invoices, receipts, delivery notes, orders or quotes.
What is the difference between duplicate and triplicate books?
Duplicate books are 2-part (white and yellow); triplicate books are 3-part (white, yellow and pink).
Which products are numbered?
Invoice books: every set is numbered in sequence. NCR pads and loose sets are not numbered.
What does NCR mean?
No carbon required. Coated paper copies your handwriting from the top sheet onto the sheets below.
Can I order a single book or pad?
Yes, invoice books and NCR pads start at one. Loose NCR sets start at 50 sets.
How long do NCR books and pads take?
Saver production is 12 working days for invoice books and 11 for pads and sets, with faster speeds in the price box.
Can terms be printed on the back?
On loose NCR sets, yes: choose black on both sides or a full colour front with a black back. Books and pads print on the front only.
