Letterheads

Letterhead printing turns a plain A4 sheet into company paper: your name, logo, address and contact details printed at the top, often with registered company details in the footer. Use it for letters, quotations, statements and the printed invoices you send from the office, so paperwork you post matches the invoice books your team writes on site.

Choosing the paper

All three papers are smooth white, and the weight changes how the sheet feels in the hand.

Front only or both sides

Most company letterheads print on the front only. Print both sides when you want terms, a branch list or a colour panel on the back. If letters run to more than one page, pair them with matching A4 continuation sheets.

What a company letterhead usually shows

Your business name and logo, address, phone, email and website. Limited companies commonly show the registered name, company number, place of registration and registered office address on business letters; Companies House guidance sets out the rules, so check it or ask your accountant before you sign off the design.

Will it go through my office printer?

The papers are smooth uncoated stocks made to be written and printed on. Test a few sheets in your own printer before a big mail-out, especially on 170gsm, and feed it the way your printer recommends for heavier paper.

Set up an A4 page (210 x 297 mm) with 3 mm bleed and keep text clear of the area your printer will use for the letter.
