NCR Pads

NCR pads suit forms that leave the pad once they are filled in: an order taken at a counter, a delivery note signed at the door, a job card dropped in the office tray. Each pad holds 50 carbonless sets glued along the top edge onto a stiff card back. Write on the white top sheet and the copies below fill in at the same time; then pull the whole set away and hand it over.

Pad or book: which do you need?

Choose a pad when the sets get filed somewhere else. Choose an invoice book when you want every copy kept together in number order.

Parts and copy colours

The top sheet is always white. A 2-part pad adds yellow, a 3-part pad yellow and pink, and a 4-part pad yellow, pink and blue. Coloured copies make it easy to say "the pink one goes to accounts" and have everyone know which sheet you mean.

Sizes for different forms

A6 makes a quick ticket or receipt pad. A5 handles most order forms and delivery notes. A4 gives room for a quotation, a checklist or an inspection record with plenty of lines. A garage might use A4 3-part job cards, a café A6 2-part order pads, and a builders' merchant A5 delivery note pads.

Printing and artwork

Print the front in black, which keeps the form crisp on every copy, or in full colour to carry your logo and brand colours. One design is printed on every part of the set. Quantities and timing

Order 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 or 50 pads, and watch the price per pad fall as the quantity rises. Saver production is 11 working days, Standard 9 and Express 8, counted from when your order and artwork are in. Delivery to a UK mainland address is £7.95 for the whole order, and free once the goods in your basket come to £100.
